Two lost souls live isolated from the world... After a terrible car accident involving his family 12-year-old Mark is sent to live with his aunt Fiona (Seymour) on a beautiful and remote island. Jane Seymour stars in this family drama set on a remote island off the Canadian coast. Fiona (Seymour) is a tough, reclusive wildlife ranger who has lived on Sable Island for the past 20 years, studying the wild horses which are the island's only other inhabitants and cutting herself off from human society following a painful incident in her past. When Fiona's nephew, Mark (Mark Rendall), is sent to live with her after a car accident claims the lives of his father and sister, the two must find a way to co-exist and come to terms with the tragedies of the past.
