Drama starring Michelle Monaghan, Joey Lauren Adams and Jimmy Bennett. Female trucker Diane Ford (Monaghan) is happy leading her responsibility-free life, but when her 11-year-old son Peter (Bennett), who she left with his father when he was a baby, turns up unexpectedly her priorities have to change. While Peter's father is in hospital the only person that can look after him is his estranged mother, however neither Diane or Peter are thrilled with the arrangement. As mother and son spend time together Diane is forced to look into her past as well as forward to an uncertain future.
