Four-part ITV miniseries about the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb. The programme follows British archaeologist Howard Carter (Max Irons) as he stumbles upon what he believes to be evidence of the tomb of the forgotten Pharaoh and boy-king Tutankhamun. His peers refute his theories as they believe the area to have been fully examined but Carter, however, believes in his research and convinces the wealthy Lord Carnarvon (Sam Neill) to fund his continued exploration to make history together.
