First series of the BBC comedy starring Nick Helm as the eponymous uncle. On the verge of suicide after being dumped by his girlfriend Gwen (Sydney White), out-of-work musician Andy (Helm) is blackmailed by his sister (Daisy Haggard) into looking after her 12-year-old son Errol (Elliot Speller-Gillott). With a little help from his nephew, Andy continues to try to win back Gwen, much to the displeasure of her cross-dressing father Val (Con O'Neill), who also runs a local club. The episodes are: 'Mind the Cracks', 'Party Monster', 'I Like-Like You', 'Favourites', 'Last of the Red-Hot Uncles' and 'Nephew'.
