Triple bill of Swedish crime dramas based on the novels by Håkan Nesser following 60-something divorced detective Van Veeteren (Sven Wollter). In 'Swallow, Cat, Rose, Death' (2006) Veeteren and his team try to track down a serial killer who chooses his victims based on the names of characters from 19th-century crime fiction books. In 'Carambole' (2005) a man is blackmailed by a witness who saw him commit a hit and run but the situation gets out of hand and more lives are lost as a result, including that of someone very close to Veeteren. In 'Case G' (2006) an unsolved case causes trouble for Veeteren when a murderer comes out of hiding...
