Sang-il Lee directs this Japanese crime thriller based on a novel by Shûichi Yoshida. When a young female insurance agent is found murdered, a rich college student is named by police as the prime suspect - but their investigation soon leads them to the true culprit, lonely small-town blue collar worker Yuichi (Satoshi Tsumabuki). To evade detection, Yuichi enlists the help of Mitsuyo (Eri Fukatsu), a woman he meets by chance, and the two take off together in her car. As the police steadily close their net around them, the unlikely pair gradually begin to fall in love.
