Mystery drama directed by Eric D. Howell and starring Emilia Clarke, Marton Csokas and Caterina Murino. Verena (Clarke) is a skilled therapist who specialises in helping children and travels across Italy providing her services to families in need but never allowing herself to become too emotionally attached to her clients. When she is invited to the grand home of Klaus (Csokas) to help his young son Jakob (Edward Ding) move past the loss of his mother Malvina (Murino), she learns that Jakob believes he can communicate with the dead and is drawn in by the mysterious aura of the family and their home.

Set in an isolated castle in 1950s Tuscany, Voice From the Stone tells the story of Verena (Emilia Clarke: TV s Game of Thrones, Me Before You), a determined young nurse who is hired to aid young Jakob a young boy who has not spoken since his mother died. Encountering resistance from Klaus, the young boy s father, and Jakob himself, Verena digs deeper into the mystery of his silence, and discovers a dark family secret, hidden behind the walls of the family castle. Beautifully shot and elegantly scored by Evanescence s Amy Lee s title song Speak to Me, Voice from the Stone is an unsettling chiller in the vein of horror classics and gothic masterpieces such as The Others, Rebecca and The Woman In Black.
