Secret Service Agent Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon) is on a mission to locate two missing federal agents and his search leads him to the idyllic town of Wayward Pines Idaho Battered and bruised from a recent car accident could he just have concussion or is there something seriously sinister about this picture-perfect town? Ethan encounters the threatening Nurse Pam (Melissa Leo) in shockingly white tights Sheriff Pope (Terrence Howard) who loves rum and raisin ice-cream and Beverly the bar-tender (Juliette Lewis) who is seemingly his only ally Why can he get in touch with anyone outside of the town? Why does he feel as if he being watched? With no recollection of how he got there or why, Ethan dedicates his time to finding a way out of Wayward Pines.
