Maxime Desmons writes, directs, produces and stars in this gay-themed Canadian drama. Having left a troubled life behind in Paris, gay actor and teacher Maurice Lesmers (Desmons) takes refuge in the faraway city of North Bay, Ontario and gets a job tutoring 15-year-old Allan (Alex Ozerov), who is infatuated with his teacher. When Maurice learns that Allan is being bullied by his peers he feels compelled to step in, to his own detriment. Meanwhile, Maurice joins a local theatre group and lands the leading role in their production of Moliere's 'The Miser' but the play's manager, Michael (Jean-Michel La Gal), keeps trying to pursue a meaningful relationship with him despite numerous rejections from Maurice.
