White Van Man is a knockabout comedy sitcom with a warm heart about a reluctant handyman. Ollie is an aspiring restaurateur whose dreams are dashed when his father suffers a heart attack and he has to take over the family painting and decorating business. The story follows the enthusiastic Ollie who along with his disastrous co-worker encounter comedy chaos behind each of their customer's front doors.

Will Mellor (TWO PINTS OF LAGER AND A PACKET OF CRISPS) stars as the eponymous 'man with a van' in this comedy, written by stand-up comic Adrian Poynton. Taking over the family handyman business was never Ollie's (Mellor) big dream, but with his dad Tony (Clive Mantle) out of action, he's having to put his personal ambitions to one side to learn the ropes. Supposedly aiding (but mostly hindering) Ollie in his reluctant career is his bone-idle assistant Darren (Joel Fry), who's almost as much of a liability as the local burglar, Ricky (Blake Harrison, THE INBETWEENERS). WHITE VAN MAN also stars Georgia Moffett as Ollie's catering-school crush turned successful restaurateur, Emma; an all-too present reminder of what he could have been.
All six episodes of the BBC3 sitcom penned by stand-up comedian Adrian Poynton and starring Will Mellor and Clive Mantle. The series follows the trials and tribulations of aspiring restaurateur turned painter and decorator Ollie (Mellor) after he reluctantly takes over his father's business, complete with white Ford Transit van.
