When the draw was made for the Euro 2008 qualification campaign there seemed little hope for the Scots as they had been paired with the might of France Italy and the Ukraine. However what was to transpire was a campaign of determination courage and unity which saw the Scots beat France and go into the final game against Italy still with a chance of progressing to the finals. Whislt England - and their supporters - were enduring a torrid campaign the Scots showed what the true definition of a team is restored pride and gave them great hope for the future.
