HMV's high street store may be of variable quality, not least with their overpriced catalogue titles, but the website is pretty great. Not as good as they were -- their formerly competitive prices have slipped a bit -- but, for pre-orders, I've found them unbeatable: as cheap as anyone 95% of the time and, the big bonus, they dispatch early, meaning titles arrive on the Friday or Saturday before release. Throw in the fact they regularly have neat exclusives and they're easy to recommend.
