Lamberto Bava may be best known for the lunatic lacerations of his DEMONS franchise but A BLADE IN THE DARK is arguably his most terrifying offering to date! A giallo blood-opera which features some of the most gruelling sequences in the genre’s vast canon A BLADE IN THE DARK holes up a talented composer in a spacious Tuscany retreat. Unfortunately a maniac is prowling the immediate environment and no one incuding our heroic musician is safe from this hack-happy psychopath's collection of dangerously sharp weapons. Co-starring the legendary Michele Soavi (later the director of STAGEFRIGHT and THE CHURCH) and written by the equally iconic twosome of Dardano Sacchetti and Elisa Briganti (ZOMBIE FLESH-EATERS/ THE BEYOND) A BLADE IN THE DARK is one of the finest gore-epics from the halcyon days of Italian horror madness.

Emiliano films intimate moments with a group of male dancers, recording their defined, tight bodies in strong, energetic movements and soon forms an impassioned relationship with one of his subjects. Although the relationship is emotional, erotic and intense, Emiliano finds it impossible to remain faithful and enters into a series of sexual encounters with handsome street hustlers. Directed by Julian Hernandez, one of Mexico's most famous directors (Broken Sky, Raging Sun Raging Sky), I AM.
Based on James Herriot's autobiographical best sellers 'If Only They Could Talk' and 'It Shouldn't Happen to a Vet' the long running TV series 'All Creatures Great and Small' continued to satisfy the Herriot hysteria of the British public.
Although My Big Fat Greek Life doesn't capture the same relaxed, storytelling rhythm of the phenomenally successful My Big Fat Greek Wedding, almost the entire acting ensemble from the movie returned for this small-screen spin-off (only John Corbett, due to other obligations, was ably replaced by Steve Eckholdt as Nia's non-Greek husband), and their skilled interplay makes for a satisfying show. So it's a shame that the sitcom was cancelled after half a season. Like the movie, most of the episodes are concerned with family issues, playing with the contrasting tugs of family obligation and the desire for independence, all anchored by writer-star Nia Vardalos's smart, engaging presence. --Bret Fetzer

Listen To Your Heart. It's the late '60s and the British Invasion has conquered the world! The Liverpool Sound tops the charts in every country except in Ireland where traditional Irish music still reigns supreme! But could the unthinkable happen? Could an upstart Irish band from Liverpool win the All Irish Music Championship for the first time in history? Transplanted Irishman Jimmy McMahon (Colm Meany) and his motley English crew have their hearts set on it. Meanwhile back in County Clare Ireland Jimmy's stalwart older brother John Joe (Bernard Hill) and his feisty local band are determined to win the trophy for the third year in a row. Meanwhile Clare's star fiddler Anne (the radiant music icon Andrea Corr of The Corrs family band) chafes under her mother's rules against dating - especially when her eye lands on Teddy (Shaun Evans) Liverpool's star flute player. They are Ireland's answer to Romeo and Juliet. The film weaves these timeless themes of discord - star-crossed lovers feuding brothers narrow-minded parents and rebellious children - with the passion all the characters share for the music they play. And against a backdrop of amber-lit pubs narrow streets and sandy shores the visuals keep pace with toe-tapping soundtrack and reflect the honor and traditions at stake in the competition.
