A bawdy, ultimately moral tale of hedonism's complications, Is Harry on the Boat? is probably the most memorable film to come out of the culture of young singles' holidays on Ibiza. Tour rep Brad (Danny Dyer) is determined to win the informal competition among the male reps to sleep with as many female clients as possible, while his friend Mikey (Des Coleman) is looking for true love. Brad gradually learns responsibility and human concern from the awful examples set by corrupt manageress Alison and self-serving treacherous super-stud Mario. Along the way we get some memorably gross-jokes and one or two moments of rather touching tenderness, as well as a convincing portrait of what people go to Ibiza for--loud, large times of music and drunken excess. Dyer is convincing as a young man who learns better from experience and Des Coleman makes Mikey a three-dimensional, soulful romantic with a wicked sense of humour rather than merely Good personified. --Roz Kaveney

The kids TV cult classic Maid Marian finally makes it's way to DVD jam-packed with a plethora of extras and plenty of involvement from series writer and star Tony Robinson. It's a little known fact that Robin Hood was a complete wimp who took all the credit for the grit in Maid Marian's guts. It was in fact she who assembled and fought oppression with a bunch of prats known as the 'Merry Men'; a dwarf called little Ron a Rastafarian an ugly dolt by the name of 'Rabies' and
Former Major League pitcher Kenny Powers (danny McBride) used to have it all: fame, endorsements, and a lucrative contract. Now, after hard living took its toll on his fastball, Kenny has found himself crashing with his brother's family and teaching gym class at the North Carolina middle school he once attended. Wherever he goes, Kenny wreaks havoc with his boorish behaviour and even makes a pre-emptive romantic strike on his former high school squeeze, now a teacher engaged to the school principal. Out of baseball, and discarded by the game he abused so well, can Kenny succeed in his plot to triumphantly return to the big leagues?
