Jack Black and Kyle Gass set out to retrieve a magical guitar pick in this musical comedy.
The VCR-loving, mixtape-making, spandex-wearing Goldbergs are back! For geeky and movie obsessed youngest child Adam (Sean Giambrone), his wonder years were spent documenting the hilarious and awkward antics of his colourful family. Mum, Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey), is at her best when she's meddling, matchmaking and bedazzling her way through life, while dad, Murray (Jeff Garlin), parents from the comfort of his recliner in his underpants. Oldest sister Erica (Hayley Orrantia) dreams of being a pop star if she can only overcome her secret love of all things uncool. Then there's middle child, Barry (Troy Gentile), who's just as in touch with his emotions as he is with his sick rap skills, which is how he landed Erica's best friend and the hottest girl in school, Lainey (A.J. Michalka), as his girlfriend. Rounding out the brood is beloved grandfather, Al PopsĀ Solomon (George Segal), the wild man of the clan, a shameless Don Juan who enjoys family time with his grandkids almost as much as his weekly massages. These seasons finds the siblings fighting off huggies, snuggies and nubbies as they navigate what it means to grow up as a Goldberg.
Two kids hire a low-budget bodyguard to protect them from a notorious playground bully.
Titles Comprised: Drillbit Taylor: Ryan (Troy Gentile) Wade (Nate Hartley) and Emmit (David Dorfman) attend their first day at high school and they're pumped...until they meet up with Filkins (Alex Frost) a school bully who comes off like a little Hannibal Lecter. Before they become completely engulfed in Filkins' reign of terror they seek out some protection by placing an ad in the Soldier of Fortune magazine. Their best response - and the cheapest - comes from Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson) a down-on-his luck soldier of fortune who lives a homeless - he likes to say 'home-free' - existence on the beach. School Of Rock: Fired from his band rock guitarist and vocalist Dewey Finn takes a job as a 4th grade substitute teacher at an uptight private school where his free livin' lifestyle attitude music and antics soon influences the students to explore other sides of themselves the school doesn't encourage. Finn's real goal in taking the job is to recruit a 9-year-old guitar prodigy Zack to become the lead guitarist in a band that would be able to win a battle of bands solving Finn's money problems and re-establishing him as a respected rocker...
