Collection of eight family adventures featuring the world's most famous St Bernard. In 'Beethoven' (1992), a small St Bernard puppy finds refuge from animal experimenter Dr Varnick (Dean Jones) in the tidy household of George Newton (Charles Grodin). There Beethoven grows very big and causes near chaos... In 'Beethoven's 2nd' (1993) dog owner George Newton (Grodin) is appalled to discover that Beethoven has gone and had some babies with a lovely lady St Bernard named Missy. The lovestruck couple have produced four lovable pups and the Newton family take to them immediately. But problems arise when Missy's evil owner, Regina (Debi Mazar), decides to use the dogs as pawns in one of her wretched schemes. In 'Beethoven's 3rd' (1999), the Newton family are on their way to a family reunion, something which only Richard (Judge Reinhold) is excited about. When the lovable Beethoven becomes an extra passenger, and causes countless calamities along the way, life for the Newton family was never so much fun. However, when two robbers threaten the safety of the family, it's left to Beethoven to prove his bite is worse than his bark. In 'Beethoven's 4th' (2001), worried that their troublesome St Bernard is about to be sent away for good, the Newton kids secretly send him to obedience school. But then a chance mix-up gets Beethoven sent to stay with the millionaire Sedgwick family, and the Sedgwick's well-behaved St Bernard delivered to the Newton's house. How long will it take for the baffled humans to work out what's really happened? In 'Beethoven's 5th' (2003), Beethoven digs up a missing clue to a hidden fortune while on summer vacation. It isn't long before the whole neighbourhood is hunting madly for the treasure, and everyone wants to be Beethoven's best friend. In 'Beethoven's Big Break' (2008), Jonathan Silverman stars as Eddie, a struggling animal trainer and single dad to 12-year-old Billy (Moises Arias), who reluctantly lets a big-hearted, slobbering 185-pound St Bernard called Beethoven into his home and his heart. In 'Beethoven's Christmas Adventure' (2011), Beethoven is charged with saving Christmas after an accident involving a Christmas elf and Santa's sleigh. Finally, in 'Beethoven's Treasure Tail' (2014), Beethoven and trainer Eddie (Silverman) become stranded in a small coastal community where they befriend bed and breakfast owner Anne (Kristy Swanson) and her son Sam (Bretton Manley). When they find out that the town is in danger of being bought over by a foreign investor, Beethoven and his new friends embark on an adventure to find some missing treasure before they lose their homes...
