War drama directed by Antti Jokinen and starring Krista Kosonen and Lauri Tilkanen. Late in the Second World War, as the tide turns against Nazi Germany, a Finnish midwife encounters a Nazi officer and the two of them begin a passionate relationship. Their passion goes some way to distracting them from the atrocities which both have experienced, the gruelling conflict fought in Finland and the horrors of the concentration camp, but as the struggle to end the war intensifies, the lovers are separated and they swear to find one another again at the cabin where they hid from the raging war.
