Golden Earring Radar Love DVD

| DVD

Golden Earring are probably the most famous and certainly the most successful rock band ever to come out of Holland. Founded as a pop band in 1961, they moved to a hard rock style in the late sixties and since 1970 have had an unchanged line-up. This concert was filmed for the German TV series Rockpalast at the Sartory-Sle in Cologne in June 1982. The band were riding high on the back of their US top 10 single “Twilight Zone”, which had hit the charts earlier in the year. The setlist covers the full range of Golden Earring material from all out rockers to melodic ballads... and the show proves what an outstanding live act they were and still remain. Track List: 1) Candy’s Going Bad 2) Leather 3) No For An Answer 4) Heartbeat 5) Save Your Skin 6) Future 7) Vanilla Queen 8) Twilight Zone 9) Radar Love 10) The Devil Made Me Do It 11) Slow Down 12) Buddy Joe 13) Back Home 14) I Need Love 15) Just Like Vince Taylor [show more]

Live performance from the legendary Dutch band the Golden Earrings. Formed in 1961, the Golden Earrings remain together to this day and have evolved significantly from their pop roots to become renowned as a hard rock band. This performance, recorded for German TV at the Sartory-Säle in Cologne, arguably captures them at their peak; their song 'Twilight Zone' peaked in the top 10 of the US singles chart that year. Here the band play 'Twilight Zone' and a series of other fan favourites from their career.
