Anthony Hopkins Oscar winning pyschopath Hannibal Lector comes back into the life of FBI Agent Clarice Starling in this long awaited sequel to The Silence Of The Lambs.
By the end of the movie I didn't like this movie at all. It re-enacts what the first film had (silence of the lambs) as it is psychologically disturbing by making the normal become very scary. You know Hannibal is a deranged killer but the characters in the movie hunt him and you forget he is the villain as he becomes a victim in your mind. Starling plays a detestable FBI agent leaving no engaging hero you can connect with. In the end Hannibal after we accept him as good, does a u-turn and becomes more horrific than ever, reminding us of his character traits.
If you are scared of random strangers before you will be more after this film.

Sequel to 'The Silence of the Lambs' (1991). It is ten years since the events of the previous film and FBI agent Clarice Starling (Julianne Moore), recently in trouble with her superiors over a bungled shoot-out, suddenly receives a letter from the escaped Hannibal (Anthony Hopkins). It does not reveal his whereabouts but, after many years of inactivity, it does announce his interest in returning to the public domain. Clarice begins scanning the internet, desperately searching for any clues which will help her reach him before he strikes again. Meanwhile, Hannibal victim - multi-millionaire Mason Verger (Gary Oldman) - is also on the trail of his tormentor, eager for revenge and the chance to introduce him to his herd of specially-cultivated carnivorous pigs.
