Ice Age 4: Continental Drift is the 2012 box office hit directed by Steve Martino and Mike Thurmeier. This impressive 3D computer animated comedy adventure is the fourth in the highly popular Ice Age series of family movies.
The latest escapade begins when Scrat the squirrel causes a cataclysmic tectonic rift while obsessively chasing an elusive acorn. The ensuing global pandemonium triggers widespread landmass upheaval and subsequent formation of the world's seven continents as we now know them. This world changing event throws everyone's lives into chaos... and sparks off another great adventure for Manny (the mammoth), Diego (the sabre toothed tiger) and Sid (the sloth).
In the confusion following the wide-reaching aftermath Manny and the others (including Sid's ever cantankerous Granny) find they have become adrift on an iceberg and have to try to find a way to return back home. As they embark on their difficult journey they are captured by the evil Captain Grutt and his crew of villainous pirates. Will Manny be able to make it back home to his family or will the pirates and the continental drift keep them apart forever?

The fourth instalment in the CGI-animated comedy adventure franchise. When the entire continent is set adrift following a global cataclysm, Manny (voiced by Ray Romano), Diego (Denis Leary) and Sid (John Leguizamo) find themselves separated from the rest of the herd. Commandeering a nearby iceberg as a makeshift boat, they take to the high seas.
