Three-part BBC comedy thriller written by Sam Bain. After a recent divorce, 30-something Joel (Chris Geere) is shocked to discover his close friend Charlie (Tom Riley) has cancer and to make matters worse he's refusing chemotherapy in favour of a homeopathic approach. Determined not to stand by and watch their friend die, Joel and Tess (Jessica Regan) kidnap Charlie and take him to a remote house in the country where he can get treatment from their friend Nadia (Lizzy Caplan), an American oncologist who's recently been struck off. Charlie is less than impressed with their caring but extreme approach when he awakens tied to a chair but his friends continue with their drastic action regardless, determined they're doing the right thing to save him. However, it's not long before Charlie's wife Kira (Christina Chong) raises the alarm for her missing husband and calls on the police and the media to help find him.
