Eight-part drama following a family who run a successful fashion house in Paris in 1947. Shortly after the liberation of France following the Second World War, brothers Paul (Richard Coyle) and Claude Sabine (Tom Riley) clash in their pursuit of success whilst running a Parisian couture house. Up-and-coming designer Paul is the face of the business but his brother is the real creative force behind the label's success, a closely guarded secret within the family. Under intense pressure to keep the business running smoothly, Paul also clashes with his family's new business partner Jules Trouvier (James Cosmo) and encounters further problems when his brother decides he wants to step out of the shadows and get the recognition he feels he deserves.
