Road trip drama starring Sienna Miller and Golshifteh Farahani. Mona (Farahani) is an Algerian immigrant who helps her husband Mourad (Roschdy Zem) run a local supermarket while being constantly under pressure from her mother-in-law (Chafia Boudraa) to become pregnant. A mix-up with her mother-in-law's medicine results in the death of the older woman and Mona decides to run away with Marilyn (Miller), who has decided to leave her cheating husband behind and head to New Mexico where she is going to take part in a belly dancing competition. The two women travel the country together and Marilyn encourages Mona to begin dancing along the way to help fund the journey. But with the authorities back home suspicious of Mona's disappearance, can the two women make it to Santa Fe while avoiding unwanted attention?
