| DVD

Clive Dunn (Dad's Army) is Sam Cobbett, the geriatric hero of this hilarious sitcom which takes a look at the generation gap in particular, what happens when a wily, outspoken old curmudgeon ends up living under the same roof as his daughter and son-in-law. All six episodes from the second season of the 1970s ITV sitcom starring Clive Dunn. After his condemned terraced house is bulldozed, cantankerous retired engine driver Sam Cobbett (Dunn) moves into the spare room in the new high-rise flat belonging to his daughter, Doris (Priscilla Morgan), and her social-climbing husband, Arthur (Edward Hardwicke). Sparks are soon flying as Sam's entrenched opinions on life and the world in general come into conflict with the modern outlook of the next generation and interfere with Arthur's perennial attempts to climb the social ladder.
