Denys Arcand's multi-award winning comedy drama telling the story of a university professor, Remy (Remy Girard), once known for his passionate appetite for women and literature, who is now lying in a Montreal hospital bed dying of cancer. His ex-wife Louise (Dorothee Berryman) asks his estranged son Sebastien (Stephane Rousseau) to fly over to see his sick father. The two men detest each other, but Sebastien, a successful London financier, swings into action when he sees the hospital's terrible conditions, and bribes everyone he can think of to make his father more comfortable on his deathbed.
