Tonight And Every Night DVD

| DVD

A musical wartime morale booster in which star Rita Hayworth is but one of a lively ensemble. Set in battle-scarred Britain, the action takes place in a seedy old music hall, which never misses a performance even at the height of the blitz. Five times a day like clockwork, American-born entertainer Rosalind Bruce (Rita Hayworth) and her British cohorts put on a show for their ever-appreciative audiences.

This big-budget musical centers around the true tale of the Windmill Theatre's historic refusal to allow the WWII London bombings to interrupt the staging of its productions.

Rita Hayworth stars in this 1940s musical directed by Victor Saville. Set in Britain during World War II, the film follows a theatre group who never fail to put on a show despite the ongoing Blitz, much to the delight of their audience. Meanwhile behind the scenes, one of the performers, American Rosalind Bruce (Hayworth), falls for RAF pilot Paul Lundy (Lee Bowman).
