From his early days watching Formula 1 greats Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost Lewis Hamilton dreamt of joining the ranks of his sporting heroes. His dreams came true in 2007 when he became the youngest person to ever drive a F1 car ultimately going on to win the 2008 F1 Championship. Hamilton's interest in motor racing started at a very early age firstly Go-Karts and then Formula 3 in which he won the British Championship. Never shy Hamilton approached McLaren boss Ron Dennis at the age of 10 saying he wanted to drive for them Dennis replied Wait 10 years and I'll see what I can do. In 1998 Dennis kept his word and the rest is history. Having missed winning the 2007 F1 Championship by just one point Hamilton was not going to make the same mistake twice. In 2008 leaving it to the last corner of the Brazilian Grand Prix to clinch the title the youngest driver to ever do so in F1 history.
