Between 1968 and 1972, the world watched in awe each time an American spacecraft voyaged to the Moon. Only 12 men walked upon its surface and they remain the only human beings to have stood on another world. In the Shadow of the Moon brings together for the first time, and very possibly the last time, surviving crew members from every single Apollo mission which flew to the Moon, and allows them to tell their story in their own words. Beautifully shot, this riveting first-hand testimony is interwoven with visually stunning archive material which has been re-mastered from the original NASA film footage - much of it never used before.

Painstaking care has been taken to bring Voltron up to modern video standards. Unlike many of the earlier classic 80's cartoon releases Voltron required a different level of restoration work. The show was pieced together from two different Japanese series. Normally the video cleaning process involves going back to the original prints but in this case they simply didn't exist. Starting with new film transfers from Hyaku Juu Oh Golion and Kik'' Kantai Dairugger XV we rebuilt Voltron from the ground up! All of the original footage was color-corrected and given a full revival to remove the imperfections on film. Once the pieces were in place it was time to edit...edit...and edit some more. Every episode now had to be re-created using the originals as guides. So frame by frame and scene by scene Voltron was reborn into existence once more. The video crew of AnimeWorks has taken the greatest of care to revive this classic series that introduced so many of us to Anime. From the far reaches of the galaxy comes the legend of the Lion Force five great weapons that connect to form Voltron a mighty robot dedicated to defending the universe. Meanwhile on planet Earth a Galaxy Alliance maintains peace amongst the planets but a horrible menace threatens that peace and Voltron is needed once again. A super force of space explorers must venture deep into space and resurrect Voltron Defender of the Universe. This fantastic Limited Edition 3-disc embossed Steelbook; contains the first 15 episodes and is a must for fans old and new.

Originally released in 1991, the three-part Denotator Orgun plays like a mixture of several popular sci-fi films. Tomoru, a teenage boy in the 24th century, is haunted by weird dreams partially based on the computer games he plays with his friends. He soon discovers he's telepathically linked to the mysterious alien robot, Orgun. Meanwhile, at the Earth Defense Force Intelligence He adquarters, Dr Michi Kanzaki and supercomputer I-Zak decrypt a message from deep space that turns out to be the blueprints for Orgun's physical makeup. As they make these discoveries, an advanced race of aliens nears the Earth with plans to destroy it. Naturally only the combination of Tomoru, Kanzaki and Orgun can defeat them. Director Masami Obari (Fatal Fury) handles the action sequences, space battles, and fist fights between giant robots with his usual skill. He's less successful at presenting Hideki Kakinuma's convoluted story, a needlessly complicate d mixture of flashbacks, fantasies, quasi-religious mysticism and warnings about the dangers of tampering with human evolution that is simultaneously too complicated and too simple for its two-and-a-half-hour length. --Charles Solomon, Amazon.com

From Victor Hugo's classic French novel of the nineteenth century to Tom Hooper's award winning blockbuster this year, Les Misrables has undergone one of the most successful transitions from book to stage to screen. When Cameron Mackintosh decided to make a musical of a French man’s search for redemption against the backdrop of the French Revolution, theatre critics slated its first London performance in 1985. But nearly thirty years later over 60 million people have seen the stage play and many more will watch the movie. In this new documentary, the scintillating journey of Hugo's universal story is traced from book to stage to screen with contributions from many who have starred in or helped to create this entertainment phenomenon. Sir Cameron Mackintosh, Alfie Boe, Hugh Jackman, Tom Hooper, Frances Ruffelle, Amanda Seyfried and Anne Hathaway recount the amazing story of why Les Misrables has captured a place in everyone's hearts through all it’s mediums. Also included is an intimate interview with a young Cameron Mackintosh in which he describes his passion for the theatre, his abject failures and his eventual triumph over adversity with Les Misrables.
