  Mozart's last work The Requiem Mass in D Minor K626 receives a strong performance from the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra And Chorus under Mozart specialist Colin Davis in a classic recording made in 1984.Popular legend has it that the Requiem was commissioned by a mysterious stranger fuelling Mozart's obsession that the piece was his own Mass. However the probable truth is much less dark that one Count Walsegg who had a well-known penchant for commissioning works which he then attempted to pass of as his own commissioned it upon the death of his wife. Mozart died is 1791 before completing the piece. It was later completed by one of his students Franz Sussmayer at the request of Mozart's wife Constanze.

  Originally recorded for the Canadian TV show A Beautiful Noise (Toronto - January 2006) this program includes additional interview and musical footage. Healey playing trumpet and guitar leads his excellent band The Jazz Wizards forward into musical history. As always he delivers jazz from the past with humor respect for the tradition and a contemporary attitude. Healey gained worldwide fame as a stunningly original rock/blues guitarist and has toured and sat-in with many legendary performers including Stevie Ray Vaughan Buddy Guy BB King ZZ Top Steve Lukather Eric Clapton and many more. His passion however was the infectious and joyful music from the classic jazz era - the days when Jelly Roll Morton King Oliver Louis Armstrong and Bix Beiderbecke ruled the music world. For many years Healey performed at his club Healey's on Bathurst Street in Toronto where he played with a rock band on Thursday nights and with his jazz group on Saturday afternoons. The club moved to a bigger location at 56 Blue Jays Way and it was rechristened Jeff Healey's Roadhouse. Healey also starred in the 1989 movie Road House alongside Patrick Swayze.
