It's an untold story: The day U.S. Coast Guardsmen trained for domestic search and rescue in port protection were called for combat duty in Vietnam. Most military accounts of the Vietnam War emphasise the role of the Army, the Marine Corps, and the Air Force during the conflict with very little attention paid to the operations to prevent coastal and river infiltration by Communist forces. Those Coast Guardsmen that fought in the war are practically forgotten, but their stories are recounted in this special documentary.
This DVD was recorded live in 2006 at House Of Blues in New Orleans and at The Downtown in Farmingdale New York. Here Zebra (featuring Randy Jackson Felix Hanemann and Guy Gelso) displayed a mind-boggling performance. The DVD is full of interviews and tidbits spanning Zebra's entire career. All the hits are here including ""Who's Behind The Door"" ""Tell Me What You Want"" and ""Bears"". Zebra formed in New Orleans in the mid-'70s and soon won over fans with their Zeppelin-esque hard rock. Includes 16-page booklet examining many of the most famous works God Nature and Art Born at the dawn of the 15th century in the Italian region of Mugello near the birthplace of Giotto Beato Angelico was a central figure of the early Renaissance. A contemporary of Masaccio he was deeply influenced by his lessons not only in the conception of space but also in the interpretation of the relationship between nature and faith. However his interpretation of this relationship was less dramatic. For this reason for a long time his art was substantially underestimated and considered only to be the expression of a simple and devoted spirit. In this absorbing programme we rediscover the genius of an innocent devout and hardworking painter whose work developed alongside changes in religion politics and art. We visit the locations of his great works and the places which shaped them including Florence and Rome and follow his career from a teen novice to a leading name in art and the Domician movement. In glorious footage including lingering close-ups of his greatest works we see how a style which began by reflecting the serene simplicity of Christianity developed to adopt the evolving humanist ideals intertwining the late Gothic and magical with realism. We explore how changing architectural styles political upheaval and his rediscovery of classicism all influenced Beato Angelico s masterpieces but how a childlike innocence and simple sense of faith stayed at the heart of his work. Each of the major works is carefully investigated and interpreted in the light of recent criticism.
Little did the Americans realise what a bloodbath the Omaha Beach landings would prove to be. After the relative ease of the Utah landings this was one mission that was going to require an unbelievable amount of grit and sacrafice.

Welcome to Hungary! This video production follows the fortune of the GySEV the M''V and indeed the ''–BB in the west of Hungary; Sopron Deutschkreutz and Gy''r and all points between. Hungary is a fascinating venue for a rail film. A country at the crossroads of Europe with a rail system that is modernising fast and yet retains something of the east European 'exotic'! The GySEV is no minor player. The company part owned by Austria part by Hungary and part by the German port of Hamburg is a major league freight carrier. Sopron is not only a major tourist town it's also the eastern hub for the 'Quality Net' Europe wide container network. It's also the terminal for several RoLa -'piggyback' services from Germany. But the line is best known for its international transit traffic linking Germany with the Balkans Greece and Turkey. On our journey we have time to look at some of the attractions on the way: The Esterh''zy Palace Nagycenk-for the mansion and the narrow gauge steam railway museum and the Neusiedler See. But it's the railway that makes the link we never stray very far from the constant passing of the trains on this main line. By the time we reach Gy''r we are in M''V territory the EuroCity route from Vienna via Hegyeshalom has joined us and the line is now incredibly busy with international freight and passenger working-to say nothing of the M''V locals and ICs! The Video was filmed by Austrian signal Engineer Gerald Masser it has been digitally edited by FHP Audio Visual in the UK. The English narration is by Phyllis Watts.
