A mighty performance from the forwards and the ever-reliable boot of Jonny Wilkinson saw them face the hosts in a tense, highly-charged semi-final that see-sawed from one side to the other. England's early lead was overhauled by French penalties before that man Wilkinson once again came to the rescue. This is the comeback of all time and somehow, magically, bewilderingly, wonderfully, England are in the final again to face South Africa, their destroyers from the group stage.
